Brand New Full Split Tailgate Conversion kit to fit all Series models 1958-1984 and all Defender models 1984-2016

This will allow you to swap from a normal sideways opening door to the lift up and drop down tailgate. This is a fantastic upgrade meaning you can just lift up the top half of the tailgate to access the rear, or you can open both parts. As the lower tailgaet is strong enough to sit on, you are never without a seat!
Ideal for camping, outdoor people o customers wanting a bit more versatlity. Also we think this kit looks great too!

Comes with all the parts, brackets and fixings to fit.
All of the parts in the kit are made the exact same as the original Land Rover parts, so all looks like it could be a factory fitted kit giving that perfect blend of retro with increased functionality

The only change to the original design is the addition of a gas strut kit for the upper tailgate so it opens like a modern boot lid

The main top door is made with a galvanised steel frame with alloy skin as original

The drop down tailgate it made from aluminium with a zinc plated steel inner panel as original
